As a non-profit organization, philanthropic support is crucial to fulfilling strategic plan priorities, including:

  • Creating a school where growth and learning are holistically integrated
  • Providing an environment for safe risk-taking, self-challenge, and increased self-awareness

This is Millennium’s most critical philanthropic priority. The Annual Fund provides the flexible, unrestricted support necessary for engaging educational experiences valued by the community.

Tuition only covers about 85% of the budget.

Our Goal: $175,000

Annual Fund FAQs

PURPOSE & IMPORTANCE

What is the Annual Fund?

The Annual Fund provides crucial flexible, unrestricted support to supplement tuition income, which covers about 85% of the budget. It ensures the delivery of engaging educational experiences aligned with Millennium’s mission.

Why is 100% participation important?

Full community participation demonstrates commitment to students, faculty, and the school’s mission. It’s a benchmark used by the National Association of Independent Schools to measure community support. Every gift, regardless of size, makes a difference.

Why not increase tuition instead?

Raising tuition could exclude valuable students whose families cannot afford an increase. The Annual Fund allows community members to contribute according to their means, ensuring a full educational program for all.
