Millennium’s Aftercare program

AfterCare is an after-school program designed to provide a safe and welcoming space for students. It operates Monday through Thursday (no AfterCare on Fridays) from the end of school until 5:30 pm. On regular days, it begins at 3:45 pm, while on early dismissal Wednesdays, it starts at 2:35 pm.

PROGRAM OFFERINGS

AfterCare allows students to:

  • Socialize with friends
  • Explore extracurricular interests through various weekly activities

FLEXIBLE PICK-UP & COSTS

Parents can pick up students any time between the program’s start and 5:30 pm. The cost is $18/hour, billed in 15-minute increments. Some offerings involving contracted specialists may incur additional costs (to be determined).

DIVERSE ACTIVITY OPTIONS

In addition to open time for homework or self-directed activities, AfterCare offers various programs throughout the year based on student interest:

  • Art challenges
  • Coding
  • MakerSpace Time
  • Brain twisters activities (STEM, Trivia, Puzzles)
  • Baking Club
  • Fitness-focused activities

These offerings aim to cater to a wide range of student interests and provide opportunities for skill development and creative expression beyond regular school hours.
