Language & Cultural Learning
Middle school is a pivotal time for students to broaden their worldviews and develop an appreciation for diverse perspectives. Learning a foreign language supports this goal, offering students a unique window into other cultures and ways of thinking.
SPANISH IN THE GLOBAL LINGUISTIC LANDSCAPE

- Used by 400 million people worldwide
- Second most spoken language globally behind Chinese (1.2 billion speakers)
This widespread use underscores the importance of Spanish as a tool for global communication and cultural understanding.
